Our client, a leading component manufacturer, is looking for the perfect blend of personality, business acumen, and technical expertise to be their Business Development Manager. In this seat, you’ll analyze market and channel data; identify potential customers, and promote products through multiple channels. This is an exciting opportunity to have a heavy hand in launching and implementing the product roadmap for a portfolio of high-wear components in the North American market. 

Your Mission

  • Deeply research and understand the North American market for this product segment
  • Stay abreast of market patterns and changes, and actively forecast future opportunities
  • Champion multiple distribution channels through superior sales strategies and customer support 
  • Propose suggestions to senior leadership to add to, remove from and/or make adjustments to the current product line
  • Leverage data, face-to-face time with dealers and customers and background expertise to make educated decisions
  • Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to meet customer expectations and revenue goals
  • As an expert in the competition, assist marketing personnel with the development of technical documentation and marketing content
  • Seek to continuously improve products, processes, and procedures
  • Regularly report on project progress to senior leadership
  • Attend industry trade shows and visit dealers and customers 

A Few Qualifiers

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, marketing or similar discipline
  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • Proven sales success through the development & execution of business plans
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Up to 50% travel
