Our client, a well-established dealer, is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to oversee operations across multiple locations in California. This high-impact role offers a unique opportunity to join the c-suite, driving organizational growth and operational excellence at a strategic level.

As COO, you will lead transformative change, embed organizational best practices, and optimize the operational health of the dealership group. Your oversight will include strategic governance of revenue, expenses, margins, and process improvements, ensuring the organization is positioned for sustained success.

Your Mission:

  • Build and maintain above-average standards, including dealership image, KPI performance, employee & customer satisfaction, and digital presence
  • Champion and manage the day-to-day operations across multiple locations
  • Create and implement operational training programs
  • Oversee safety management, ensuring all protocols are communicated and followed
  • Analyze operational functions, ensuring company compliance with all local, state, and federal laws & regulations
  • Routinely visit branches while utilizing innovative leadership and communication methods to enhance a winning culture with a large-scale company vision
  • Develop and monitor financial budgets and have full P&L responsibility
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual parts, service, and rental goals
  • Build strategic and profitable relationships within the region
  • Continuously seek out and identify opportunities for expansion and improvement, including implementing new technology
  • Analyze dealership KPIs to help set and achieve sales goals
  • Attend industry functions and events

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant experience 
  • 5+ years of proven leadership experience with exceptional judgment and decision-making ability
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong understanding of business financials and operations management
