Our client, a global construction OEM, is searching for someone with high-level business intelligence to be their next dealer development manager. Leveraging your in-depth knowledge of dealer sales & data-driven solutions, your primary responsibility will be to coordinate the onboarding of new dealerships while establishing and maintaining the dealer network standards. Your success will be measured by your ability to formulate a detailed plan aimed at expanding the dealer network, increasing sales, capturing a larger market share, enhancing profitability, and improving customer satisfaction.
Your Mission:
- Develop short and long-term plans to identify, target, and sign on new dealership partners across North America
- Create a plan of action to boost dealer sales, increase market share, improve profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction by expanding the dealer network
- Formulate methodologies to analyze dealership financial strength, trends, and opportunities
- Devise and implement effective performance management systems
- Oversee dealer incentive program including the transition to an online format, while also working towards improving KPIs
- Assist with data analytics, modeling, and visualization
- Play a vital role in dealer onboarding including the development & implementation of standards, business plans, agreements, and succession planning
- Supervise and manage legal compliance, which includes ensuring proper onboarding, remediation, and handling of mergers and acquisitions
- Develop and nurture relationships with key dealership personnel
A Few Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field
- 7+ years relevant experience with dealer development, training, creation of certification programs, sales, product management and/or marketing
- Experience in construction equipment or related equipment field is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Ability to work with all levels of management
- Up to 75% travel required
