Our client, a well-known construction equipment manufacturer, is looking for a Dealer Recruitment Manager to focus on dealer network growth and setup on the West Coast. In this seat, you’ll leverage your strong industry and business acumen to handpick ideal dealer partners that elevate the brand and meet company expansion goals. 

Your Mission:

  • Prospect and add new dealers to the network and manage the growth of existing dealership locations
  • Develop and execute strategy for channel development
  • Conduct market research including analysis of regional dealers, and market performance while identifying where improvements can be made
  • Support sales teams on potential growth opportunities (capital, stocking, succession planning, etc.)
  • Prospect and close on new dealership locations
  • Assist with new dealership setup to optimize sales & product offers
  • Develop a minimum inventory stocking requirement with dealers
  • Provide opportunities to communicate the overall vision through dealer meetings, region meetings, and other sessions between sales teams and dealerships
  • Support branch expansion through continued development and communication of the business model and planning tools

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years experience in business development in a dealer sales environment
  • Extensive knowledge of dealer operations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated problem-solving  and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment often requiring you to continuously communicate with team members and clients
  • Travel up to 75%
