A leader in heavy equipment manufacturing is seeking a strategic, technically minded professional to direct its customer support operations. As Director of Customer Support, you will oversee teams dedicated to aftermarket parts sales, technical support and training, creating a best-in-class experience for customers and dealers.

This role is ideal for a leader who thrives at both the tactical and strategic levels. You’ll play a key part on the senior leadership team, guide revenue growth through aftermarket initiatives, and shape the systems that strengthen customer relationships and drive long-term business success.

Your Mission:

  • Provide direction and leadership to teams spanning parts, technical support, and training to elevate customer performance
  • Expand aftermarket revenue by optimizing traditional sales programs and advancing digital/e-commerce channels
  • Introduce new initiatives that strengthen product support and expand service offerings
  • Ensure training, demonstrations, and technical support help customers fully leverage their equipment investments
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, rental, and sales to deliver solutions that align with customer needs
  • Oversee warranty programs with integrity, fairness, and accountability
  • Cultivate strong, lasting partnerships with dealers and key accounts through regular engagement
  • Monitor performance metrics, anticipate trends, and implement data-driven strategies to drive improvement
  • Act as a customer advocate, embedding feedback into continuous improvement efforts across all support functions 

A Few Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven success in aftermarket sales, service, or technical support leadership within the heavy equipment industry
  • Strong mechanical and technical expertise with the ability to troubleshoot and translate solutions
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and digital tools to grow aftermarket revenue
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and inspire multi-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills with confidence in engaging customers, dealers, and executives
  • A collaborative, data-driven mindset with a focus on results and long-term growth
