Our client, a global construction machinery manufacturer, is looking for a Director of Parts to join their team! You’ll couple your expert knowledge of parts management with your ability to motivate and thoughtfully lead in order to enhance a growing aftersales team. You’ll be on the front lines of communication, ensuring order expectations are met while working cross-functionally with warehouse & procurement leadership to generate stocking lists, maintenance kits, and internal procedural recommendations.

Your Mission: 

  • Champion and mold the parts business strategy with a hyper-focus on customer service and an ultimate goal of increased responsiveness and parts fulfillment
  • Establish, monitor, and build upon team KPIs
  • Manage team’s daily workflow and direction
  • Direct daily follow-up meetings to ensure open cases are resolved in a timely manner
  • Continually strive for perfection and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Develop, implement, and oversee company warranty policies and procedures
  • Provide solutions for escalated customer issues
  • Work cross-functionally to help create and drive procedures that meet or exceed the benchmarks set for dealer inventory levels
  • Develop and ensure consistent accuracy of parts stocking lists
  • Develop and ensure proper distribution of maintenance kits
  • Recommended parts and stocking levels to internal teams to aid in future planning
  • Champion and nurture parts pricing while continually searching for ways to lower cost while maintaining quality
  • Ensure timely and effective communication with customers & dealers regarding parts order status
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams in the processing of returns, obsolescence, replenishment, and shipping of parts

Job Qualifications:

  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • Proven mastery of components and parts of heavy machinery
  • Creative mindset with a root cause problem-solving strategy
  • Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong CRM and WMS knowledge
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
