Our client, a respected heavy equipment dealer, is seeking a Division President to lead a profitable and well-established organization into its next stage of growth. In this role, you will bring focus, structure, and leadership to a capable team that is ready to reach a higher level of performance. The ideal candidate is a people-centered leader who can strengthen culture, drive alignment, and ensure consistent execution across all branches.
Your Mission:
- Provide clear strategic leadership that balances growth, profitability, and operational discipline while fostering an engaged, high-performing culture
- Reenergize team alignment through communication, accountability, and a shared commitment to excellence
- Oversee all aspects of Sales, Service, Parts, and Rentals to achieve performance targets and elevate the customer experience
- Build and develop strong leaders at every level, ensuring managers are equipped to guide their teams and sustain long-term success
- Strengthen collaboration among departments to create a unified, customer-focused approach that drives consistency across locations
- Lead financial planning and operational reviews to identify growth opportunities, improve efficiency, and maintain profitability
- Cultivate productive relationships with OEM partners, suppliers, and key customers to expand market reach and reputation
- Champion operational excellence through disciplined processes, continuous improvement, and a strong focus on service quality
- Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning, succession development, and long-term initiatives that position the division for continued success
A Few Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in a multi-location equipment, industrial, or capital goods environment
- Track record of developing managers and elevating team engagement
- Strong P&L understanding with the ability to grow a business that is already profitable
- Experience working with OEMs, suppliers, and key customers in a relationship-driven industry
- Comfortable stepping into a well-run operation and raising the standard for consistency, communication, and culture
- Strategic mindset with the ability to execute through people
