Our client, a global construction OEM, is looking for a data-driven strategist with deep experience in sales operations, pricing, and process improvement. As Manager of Sales Operations, you’ll be embedded in the commercial engine of the organization, responsible for managing pricing strategy, forecasting, inventory reporting, and the performance of the sales administration team. You’ll also play a key role in supporting key accounts and ensuring finance programs align with both customer needs and company profitability goals.
Your Mission:
- Own forecasting, inventory, pricing strategy, promotional planning, and delivery coordination
- Lead the sales administration team, managing daily operations and department budget
- Collaborate with global sales teams and internal departments to build aligned sales forecasts and execution plans
- Analyze market data, field intelligence, and dealer input to guide strategy and improve competitive positioning
- Maintain and distribute pricing lists to protect margins and respond to market changes
- Oversee all inventory reporting, including new, aged, consignment, and demo units
- Champion municipal sales programs and provide support for strategic accounts
- Ensure finance programs are administered effectively to meet profitability and customer goals
- Support product management in phasing in and out new and discontinued equipment
- Participate in SIOP meetings and help lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Travel as needed for team alignment, customer support, and dealer development
A Few Qualifiers:
- 5–10 years of experience in sales, marketing, or operations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- SAP or other ERP experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under deadline pressure
- Comfortable collaborating across departments and working in a global environment
