Our client, a heavy equipment OEM, is looking for a detail-oriented and solutions-driven finance leader to serve as Plant Controller for its manufacturing operations. In this role, you will take ownership of plant-level financial management and serve as a trusted partner to operations. You will bring accuracy to reporting, discipline to cost control, and structure to budgeting and compliance while helping the plant meet both financial and production goals.

Your Mission
- Monitor plant financial performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions
- Oversee production monitoring, including variance analysis and cost control
- Lead annual cost roll processes within SAP
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain and improve operational and financial controls
- Track cost center performance and drive expense accountability
- Manage inventory reporting and ensure transaction accuracy
- Oversee hourly payroll processing
- Coordinate and support external audit activities
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies
- Lead the annual physical inventory process
- Provide financial support for plant projects and ad hoc initiatives
A Few Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in plant or manufacturing accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
- Strong background in financial analysis, reporting, and cost control
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work independently
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable in a high-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment
