Our client, a global leader in construction equipment manufacturing, is seeking an industry expert to join their team as a Product Manager for road equipment. This remote position offers the opportunity to contribute from anywhere while leading product development initiatives and managing cross-functional collaboration. With a strong background in product development and project management, you’ll work cross-functionally to drive the development of innovative products and improve existing designs. Your organizational skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams will be key in collaborating with management, engineering, production, and marketing to evaluate product feasibility and market demand. Your Mission:
- Spearhead the product definition and overall development of construction equipment, ensuring alignment with market demand and customer needs
- Lead the planning and execution of product strategy for equipment, including developing and implementing comprehensive market promotion plans
- Act as the project manager for new products, guiding the overall design and managing project progress to ensure timely and successful completion
- Drive the advancement of core technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine test methods and standards, ensuring product reliability and performance
- Develop and implement improvement plans for existing products, overseeing reviews, audits, improvements, and evaluations to enhance product quality and market competitiveness
- Analyze VOC to support product changes and help influence areas of improvement
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with relevant equipment products, with a proven track record in leading the development of multiple new models
- Proven project management experience, with a strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects from concept through to completion
- Deep understanding of the heavy equipment market
- Expertise in advancing core technologies and developing innovative solutions that meet market needs
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex projects and deliver results
