This is a high-impact opportunity to lead advanced machine training initiatives for a global construction OEM at the forefront of innovation. We’re looking for a Product Trainer with deep machinery knowledge and a strong command of smart technologies—including GPS, machine control, and surveying systems. In this role, you’ll own the end-to-end development and delivery of specialized product training. From creating course content and training materials to managing training center logistics and facilitating instruction, you’ll ensure internal teams, dealers, and end-users gain the skills to unlock the full potential of cutting-edge equipment.
Your expertise will help shape the future of operator training and drive technology adoption across the industry.
Your Mission:
- Champion the creation and implementation of innovative machine product training, including courses, content, and materials
- Schedule and coordinate training and the availability of materials at company training center, including instructors, equipment, demos and other special products
- Monitor & analyze training data to continuously improve training programs and guarantee company-wide uniformity of all (digital & in-person) training courses
- Continually coach distributor technology experts through ride-alongs and knowledge sharing while identifying areas improvement and suggesting appropriate training
- As needed, assist all levels, including end-users, distributors, and all internal teams, with set-up and use issues related to specific products
- Attend industry tradeshows
- Travel up to 30%
A Few Qualifications:
- Degree or extensive (10+ years) relevant heavy equipment applications experience
- Proven working knowledge of heavy equipment and technology including GPS, surveying or other machine control and their applications in heavy equipment
- Working knowledge of industry business operations
- Proven presentation skills and teaching ability
- Extensive and demonstrated ability to utilize new technologies to create adult training curriculum
- Proven vendor management experience required
- Demonstrated Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.) skills
