Our client, a global OEM, is seeking a Quality Manager to join their team. This pivotal role will have you developing, implementing, and leading initiatives in quality assurance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Utilizing a hands-on approach to global cross-functional leadership, you’ll work to reduce risks, capitalize on opportunities, and ensure that manufacturing processes align with established industry practices and standards. In this seat, your influence will be pivotal in advancing the product line, enabling you to make a distinctive mark of excellence in an ever-changing industry.

Your Mission:

  • Direct and optimize daily operations within the department, focusing on maximizing efficiency while maintaining quality standards
  • Embrace the role of a lead/change agent to bolster company initiatives
  • Provide expert guidance and decision-making in complex, escalated scenarios
  • Uphold facility safety, environmental objectives, and compliance with policies and procedures
  • Manage the departmental budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility
  • Conduct thorough performance evaluations, offering feedback and growth opportunities 
  • Champion process and industrial engineering improvements and support strategic product planning and deployment
  • Develop and implement effective measurement systems and performance targets
  • Design and oversee efficient assembly line setups
  • Manage and maintain QMS
  • Coordinate internal audits and manage quality assurance for suppliers, ensuring robust customer support and satisfaction
  • Monitor and analyze customer/supplier relationships and manage safety system processes
  • Facilitate quality audits, including inspection processes and control mechanisms

A Few Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing quality-focused positions
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams
  • Hands-on experience conducting quality audits and testing
  • ISO requirements expertise
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
