Our client, a growing equipment manufacturer, is looking for an inspirational leader to champion and direct a sales team as Regional Sales Leader This is an exciting opportunity to lead, develop, and motivate multiple Territory Managers. Combining your industry knowledge and market expertise with your ability to be a change leader, you will play a critical role in maintaining and expanding the regional customer base.
Your Mission:
- Ride with sales team members to strengthen account relationships while ensuring internal processes and procedures are followed
- Lead and motivate the sales team, build pipelines, and create development plans with clear KPIs for each team member
- Forecast sales trends and recommend procedural or practice changes to maximize profitability and efficiency
- Address escalated customer concerns and resolve issues effectively
- Support Territory Managers with training and ongoing development
- Identify growth opportunities by understanding market needs and designing strategies to expand share and increase revenue
- Collaborate cross-functionally to set departmental goals and budgets
- Provide regular reports for senior management as needed
- Track expenses and monitor budget performance
- Represent the company at industry tradeshows and events
A Few Qualifiers:
- 5+ years of sales experience within the equipment industry
- 2+ years of proven leadership, coaching, and team management experience
- Strong customer service skills and passion for community engagement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
