Our client, a well-established and respected lifting equipment manufacturer, is seeking a strategic and driven Regional Sales Manager to expand market share and strengthen customer relationships across the Western US. Success in this role requires sharp business development instincts, a deep understanding of the industrial equipment industry, and a consultative mindset focused on developing long-term partnerships. Your ability to earn trust with dealers, uncover new opportunities, and navigate complex sales cycles will be key to expanding the company’s regional footprint. By leveraging your communication skills, technical knowledge, and hands-on approach, you’ll drive revenue and foster lasting customer loyalty.
Your Mission:
- Build and maintain relationships with dealers, rental companies, municipalities, and key customers
- Identify market opportunities and develop strategies to grow regional revenue
- Lead the full sales process from prospecting and quoting to closing and post-sale support
- Conduct joint visits and product demos alongside dealer reps to support customer decision-making
- Support parts and service growth by identifying opportunities throughout the product lifecycle
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform internal strategy
- Collaborate with internal teams across marketing, product, and customer support
- Represent the brand at trade shows, industry events, and dealer meetings
- Maintain accurate reporting and forecasting using CRM and sales tools
A Few Qualifiers:
- 5+ years of relevant sales experience
- Demonstrated experience managing dealer relationships and key customer accounts
- Skilled in consultative selling, quoting, and supporting equipment installations
- Strong communicator with excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Self-starter who thrives in a field-based role with up to 50% travel
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
