Our client, a leading manufacturer of specialty equipment for the construction and industrial sectors, is seeking a results-driven sales professional to grow and manage customer relationships across the Northeast. In this role, you will focus on expanding business within your territory by identifying opportunities, presenting tailored equipment solutions, and supporting customers throughout the sales process. Your ability to build trust, manage complex deals, and follow through with precision will be key to your success.

Your Mission:

  • Grow your territory by expanding relationships with current customers and identifying new business opportunities
  • Provide consultative sales support by understanding operational challenges and recommending the right equipment for the job
  • Develop proposals and quotes that clearly communicate value and align with customer goals
  • Lead product demonstrations and customer site visits while serving as a reliable point of contact throughout the sales process
  • Coordinate with internal teams on logistics, production, and inventory to ensure smooth order fulfillment
  • Use CRM to manage your pipeline, forecast sales, and track competitive activity
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to increase visibility and build your network
  • Follow up proactively on quotes, orders, and support needs to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate closely with teams in sales, marketing, technical service, and operations to support customer success

A Few Qualifiers:

  • 5+ years of proven success in territory or account-based sales
  • Demonstrated experience with relevant equipment
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused and consultative mindset
  • Strong ability to discuss technical specifications and equipment applications
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly organized self-starter with strong follow-through
  • Willingness to travel throughout the region for customer visits and events
