Our client, a growing heavy equipment dealership, is looking for an inspirational leader to champion and direct a sales team as Regional Sales Manager. Focused on the Northwest US, this is an exciting opportunity to lead, develop, and motivate multiple Territory Managers across a high-performing region. Blending your knowledge of heavy equipment with your ability to drive change, you’ll play a key role in expanding the customer base, improving team performance, and building long-term value throughout the territory.

Your Mission:

  • Ride with members of the sales team to strengthen account relationships and ensure internal processes are consistently followed
  • Act as a motivational leader by setting clear KPIs, building sales pipelines, and creating development plans for each team member
  • Analyze CRM data and sales trends to identify growth opportunities and guide sales strategies
  • Lead team through complex sales cycles, including trade-ins, leasing, and financing options
  • Resolve escalated customer concerns with professionalism and urgency
  • Coordinate with parts, service, and lifecycle teams to deliver a cohesive customer experience
  • Ensure machine readiness, manage demo equipment, and oversee inventory performance
  • Support onboarding and continuous training of your sales team in partnership with internal departments
  • Participate in setting departmental goals and budgets, and provide regular performance updates to upper management
  • Represent the dealership at trade shows and industry events

A Few Qualifications:

  • Proven relevant experience leading sales teams
  • Strong knowledge of heavy equipment applications and competitive positioning
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop sales professionals
  • A customer-first mindset backed by strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Confidence working cross-functionally to align operations, sales, and support teams
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, field-based leadership role
  • High personal accountability and a hands-on leadership style
