Our client, a well-regarded heavy equipment manufacturer, is seeking a strategic, analytical leader to elevate rental performance across its dealer network. In this role, you’ll partner closely with dealer principals and senior managers to improve operational effectiveness, implement best practices, and grow overall rental business success. Your ability to interpret data, coach with clarity, and drive performance will have a direct impact on sales outcomes and customer satisfaction.
Your Mission:
- Build strong relationships with dealer leadership to align rental goals with broader business strategy
- Guide development and execution of annual rental plans, including volume targets and KPI benchmarks
- Monitor rental performance using key indicators such as physical utilization, financial return, and profitability
- Provide consulting support on fleet mix, staffing structure, inventory strategy, and process discipline
- Support a continuous improvement mindset across dealer teams through regular touchpoints and data reviews
- Represent the company at key events and customer visits
- Share market insights and identify areas of opportunity for sustained rental growth
A Few Qualifiers:
- 5+ years of experience in rental or dealer management
- Strong business acumen and the ability to interpret financials and operational metrics
- Skilled communicator with experience coaching and influencing diverse teams
- Deep understanding of dealer operations and the rent-to-rent model
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Up to 75% travel required
