Our client, a strong and well-established dealer in the Carolinas, is looking to add a motivated, customer-focused, sales professional with a hunter’s attitude to their team. As a Rental Territory Manager, you’ll join a growing sales force where you’ll leverage your strong background in equipment sales & rental to nurture current relationships while generating new revenue streams through untouched business channels.
Your Mission:
- Create and nurture strong relationships with colleagues, including aftersales, to provide effective support and foster a collaborative work environment
- Establish and cultivate robust customer relationships, with a focus on long-term mutual growth and serving as a reliable and trusted partner
- Facilitate equipment rentals in person and over the phone while also coordinating service needs for customers
- Complete rental forms and contracts, computing charges, and ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Perform regular customer check-ins while maintaining an accurate database
- As a consultative seller and equipment knowledge resource, identify and suggest appropriate equipment solutions and add-ons for customers
- Monitor overdue equipment while working cross-functionally to resolve customer concerns and payment problems
- Maintain an accurate pulse on the market in terms of pricing and equipment trends
- Attend trade shows, trainings, and events
Job Qualifications:
- 5+ years of related work experience
- Proven experience in equipment rental or sales
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong understanding of marketing and psychology of sales
- Competitive drive to succeed
