Our client, a strong & well-established dealer is looking for a sales professional to champion and direct a sales team as Sales Manager. In this position, you’ll direct, lead, and motivate multiple account managers, set & adjust KPIs, and visit accounts. You will also be a critical piece in maintaining and expanding the regional customer base while managing and nurturing the relationship between the dealership and the OEM.
Your Mission:
- Ride with account managers to strengthen existing account relationships and ensure satisfaction
- Ensure a strong and healthy relationship between the dealership and OEM.
- As a motivational leader, manage sales teams focused on construction equipment, construct pipelines and set KPI’s for the sales region
- Forecast sales trends per region and recommend procedural or practice changes to maximize profitability and efficiency
- Support your account managers by assisting with training as needed
- Understand market need and develop strategies to increase revenue and profitability
- Maximize product knowledge to increase sales in market
- Provide monthly, and quarterly reports for upper level management on your region’s sales
- Maintain expense reports and monitor budget
A Few Qualifiers:
- 5+ years sales experience with relevant equipment
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate others
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for community engagement
- Microsoft Office Expert (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc).
- Strong interpersonal and communication (written & verbal) skills
