A well-established and growing heavy equipment dealer is looking for a service-driven leader who thrives on structure, accountability, and team development. In this role, your ability to organize workflows, mentor technicians, and maintain high standards will be key to driving performance across shop and field operations. By bringing a hands-on approach and a commitment to customer satisfaction, you’ll create a culture of efficiency, safety, and quality that leads to measurable results and long-term success.

Your Mission:

  • Lead day-to-day operations of the service shop and field technicians
  • Assign maintenance and repair work based on technician strengths and customer priorities
  • Support technicians with diagnostics, troubleshooting, and customer interactions
  • Greet and assist customers in person, by phone, or electronically
  • Ensure all equipment is properly prepared for delivery
  • Monitor work orders and provide timely updates to customers
  • Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA guidelines
  • Organize and participate in service meetings and ongoing technician training
  • Track technician performance, accuracy of documentation, and overall workflow efficiency
  • Oversee warranty repairs to ensure they meet OEM and internal standards
  • Review service documentation for accuracy and billing alignment
  • Keep parts records organized and collaborate with the parts department on special orders
  • Recommend improvements to shop tools, processes, and service capabilities
  • Set the standard for safety and hold others accountable to those expectations 

A Few Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment service
  • 2+ years proven success in a leadership role
  • Demonstrated relevant technical background
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to lead, coach, and hold a team accountable in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with service software and Microsoft Office tools
  • High attention to detail with solid time management skills
  • A mindset focused on efficiency, accountability, and continuous improvement
