Our client, a respected and growing equipment dealer in Florida, is seeking a high-performing sales professional to join their team as a Territory Manager. This is a strategic role focused on driving growth across the region by building strong customer partnerships and delivering a solutions-based sales approach. You’ll represent a top-tier equipment portfolio while working closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from first contact through post-sale support.
Your Mission
- Grow equipment and rental sales by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing accounts
- Build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across the territory
- Act as a liaison between customers, internal teams, and suppliers to ensure excellent communication
- Create and execute sales plans for both new and used equipment and rentals
- Travel to customer locations for sales calls, machine inspections, and startups
- Prospect new business while maintaining and expanding current accounts
- Coordinate equipment demos and ensure deliveries meet customer expectations
- Monitor customer satisfaction and follow through on service needs
- Stay current on product knowledge, applications, and competitive offerings
- Submit all required documentation accurately (quotes, leases, machine activity, warranty forms, etc.)
- Inspect and evaluate trade-ins and assist with valuations
- Complete weekly call reports, forecasts, and expense reports on time
- Collaborate with credit, service, and parts departments to meet customer needs and sales goals
- Represent the company professionally through all interactions
A Few Qualifiers
- 2+ demonstrated equipment sales experience
- Proven understanding of machine applications and systems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- Comfortable working independently and handling shifting priorities
