Our client, a respected equipment manufacturer, is looking for a Territory Manager to drive growth across the Midwest. In this role, you’ll work directly with end-users to support equipment sales, provide hands-on product guidance, and uncover new opportunities within your territory. Your ability to build strong relationships, stay organized on the road, and communicate clearly will directly influence sales performance and customer satisfaction from first contact through post-sale support.
Your Mission:
- Develop and execute a territory strategy focused on expanding market share
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects
- Track financial goals and manage accurate expense reporting
- Conduct regular customer visits to deliver equipment demonstrations, training, and support
- Promote services including aftersales programs and financing options
- Submit weekly activity plans and document all sales activity in CRM
- Provide monthly and quarterly sales reports for leadership review
- Monitor competitive activity and identify market trends within your region
- Collaborate with product support and engineering to address technical issues
- Partner with marketing on product launches and event strategy
- Represent the company at trade shows and within relevant industry associations
A Few Qualifiers:
- 2+ years of sales or customer service experience with relevant equipment
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of truck chassis and municipal equipment
- Solid communication, customer service, and technical presentation skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Excel, and general computer tools
- Ability to travel up to 80%
