Our client, a global road machinery OEM, is looking for their next Territory Sales Manager to focus on the Northeast US. In this seat, you’ll draw from a wealth of product knowledge and proven sales success to develop and manage relationships that grow the dealer network and drive sales. This role, working closely with dealership personnel, will have you setting sales targets and developing revenue strategies that ensure sales goals are met. This hands-on, collaborative member of the sales team will also provide training, support, and guidance to teams at the dealer and OEM level.
Your Mission:
- Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to achieve sales targets for the region
- Manage the relationships with the dealer network and provide ongoing support and guidance to the dealers
- Provide sales & product training to internal teams and dealers to help them meet or exceed profitability goals
- Work cross-functionally to communicate customer and dealer issues while ensuring solutions are provided in a timely manner
- Monitor KPIs while providing regular progress reports to management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and decision-makers within the dealer network
- Identify new business opportunities and work with the dealers to develop and close sales
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities and threats
- Maintain accurate dealer and customer database
- Attend trade shows and other industry events
A Few Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- 5–7 years proven sales success
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant equipment
- Microsoft Office Expert (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc)
- Communication skills both written and verbal
- Travel up to 75%
