Our client, a well-known and respected family-owned dealership, is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to help grow their heavy equipment business in the Upper Midwest. Your ability to build relationships, understand customer needs, and drive results will be key to your success in this role. You’ll be the face of the brand in your region—delivering hands-on support, promoting a trusted lineup of machinery, and ensuring customers have the right tools for the job.

Your Mission:

  • Drive sales and rentals across a portfolio of heavy equipment, serving a wide range of jobsite applications
  • Develop new business opportunities while managing and growing existing accounts
  • Provide product recommendations and jobsite solutions that align with customer needs
  • Deliver engaging, consultative sales presentations to contractors and decision-makers
  • Collaborate with vendors, manufacturers, and internal teams to support customer success
  • Maintain accurate territory records, prepare reports, and communicate key updates to leadership
  • Coordinate equipment delivery and review safe operating procedures with end users
  • Support credit and finance teams with account status updates and collection efforts
  • Attend industry events, jobsite visits, and association meetings as needed

A Few Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales or equipment-related industries
  • 1–2 years of experience in territory or account management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative sales approach
  • Ability to interpret data, solve problems, and think strategically about customer growth
  • Comfortable working independently and visiting jobsites, suppliers, and customers
