Our client, a strong and well-established dealer, is looking to add a motivated, customer-focused, sales professional with a hunter’s attitude to their team in Virginia. As a Territory Sales Manager, you’ll work with a wide product portfolio of equipment for a highly respected dealer group that prides itself on customer service. This is an opportunity for you to leverage your strong background in equipment sales and rental to nurture current relationships while generating new revenue streams through untouched business channels.
Your Mission:
- Create and nurture strong relationships with colleagues, including aftersales, to provide effective support and foster a collaborative work environment
- Establish and cultivate robust customer relationships, with a focus on long-term mutual growth and serving as a reliable and trusted partner
- Facilitate equipment sales and rentals in person and over the phone while also coordinating service needs for customers
- Complete rental forms and sales contracts, compute charges, and ensure accuracy and completeness
- Perform regular customer check-ins while maintaining an accurate database
- As a consultative seller and equipment knowledge resource, identify and suggest appropriate equipment solutions and add-ons for customers
- Monitor overdue equipment while working cross-functionally to resolve customer concerns and payment problems
- Maintain an accurate pulse on the market in terms of pricing and equipment trends
- Attend trade shows, trainings, and events
A Few Qualifications:
- 2+ years of related work experience
- Proven experience in equipment rental or sales
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong understanding of marketing and the psychology of sales
- Competitive drive to succeed
