Our client, a well-established dealer, is seeking a Vice President of Operations to oversee multi-branch operations throughout the Western United States. This is a high-profile leadership role with the mandate to set operational direction, elevate performance, and expand market influence across sales, service, and parts.

In this role, you will drive the success of every branch by providing strategic guidance, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a culture focused on profitability and customer satisfaction. Your leadership will set the standard for performance, align teams with shared goals, and position the organization for long-term growth.

Your Mission

  • Lead and develop branch leadership teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance
  • Direct day-to-day operational activities across sales, service, and parts, ensuring excellence in execution and consistency across locations
  • Implement strategies to expand market share, strengthen customer relationships, and increase regional competitiveness
  • Recruit, mentor, and retain top-performing talent, developing future leaders who align with the company’s values and goals
  • Champion workplace safety and compliance with all applicable regulations
  • Standardize processes, introduce operational improvements, and ensure policies are consistently applied across all branches
  • Track operational and financial performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions when needed
  • Oversee branch budgets and maintain full P&L accountability
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with customers, vendors, and industry organizations
  • Identify growth opportunities, including technology adoption, process innovation, and expansion into new markets
  • Represent the organization at key industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities

A Few Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or management preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in multi-location operations management
  • Experience in heavy equipment, agriculture, or related industries
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with a proven record of managing P&L for multiple departments
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and engaged workplace
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned region
