Our client, a global construction equipment manufacturer, is seeking a resourceful and results-driven aftersales leader to guide a critical segment of its support organization. This senior role will lead key aftersales functions, including technical support, warranty, and training, while helping strengthen dealer development efforts across the network. The right person will bring strong aftermarket leadership experience, practical problem-solving ability, and the drive to build effective programs in a hands-on environment.
As a member of the senior management team, you will work across functions to bring structure, urgency, and follow-through to core aftersales priorities. This role is well-suited for a leader who can operate with initiative, create momentum, and turn strategy into action.
Your Mission
- Lead core aftersales support functions, including technical support, warranty, and technical training
- Develop and implement aftersales strategies and programs that support company growth, dealer performance, and customer satisfaction
- Strengthen dealer development by creating plans, programs, and support initiatives that improve dealer capability and long-term performance
- Provide leadership and direction to key aftersales team members across technical support, training, warranty, analytics, and dealer support
- Mentor and develop team members by bringing stronger process, structure, and accountability to the organization
- Review dealer feedback, warranty activity, and field performance data to identify recurring issues and opportunities for improvement
- Establish a proactive approach to resolving dealer and customer issues, supported by KPIs and measurable milestones
- Assess training needs across internal and external support channels to improve product knowledge, service consistency, and technical effectiveness
- Partner with internal and global teams to address ongoing issues and align on practical solutions
- Support parts-related initiatives, including pricing strategy and broader aftersales performance efforts
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure effective execution across the aftersales function
- Lead with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset that drives progress and raises performance standards across the team
A Few Qualifications
- 15+ years of relevant experience with a strong technical background in construction equipment or a related industry
- Proven OEM experience is required
- Demonstrated leadership experience across aftersales, service support, warranty, technical training, or dealer development
- Strong understanding of dealer networks and what it takes to improve dealer performance in practical, measurable ways
- Comfortable working in a hands-on environment where initiative and follow-through are essential
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Senior leadership level understanding of business performance, financial metrics, and aftersales operations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
