Our client, a leading global equipment manufacturer, is in search of an exceptional leader poised to redefine the landscape of sales and business strategy. This dynamic role that’s part of the senior leadership will supervise daily sales operations, engage with key clients, generate sales reports, craft impactful sales strategies, and promote company services. Success in this seat demands strong leadership capabilities and a keen understanding of the market and competitors, coupled with exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Your Mission:

  • Actively work with territory sales teams to influence business decisions that expand the company footprint while ensuring alignment with company strategies and goals
  • Manage P&L
  • Establish and implement an aggressive development strategy to produce significant revenue growth 
  • Champion the process of dealer selection from initial identification to on-boarding
  • Ensure dealer channels are properly covered to maintain and build highly satisfying relationships throughout the U.S
  • Optimize day-to-day business operations and investments through strong forecasting and inventory management
  • Maintain accurate records of dealer contracts
  • Support the creation of territory maps and track active territories
  • Work cross-functionally with internal and external teams to ensure company sales goals are met
  • Utilize market research including analysis of regional dealers’ performance to identify where improvements can be made
  • Assist in creating and implementing annual dealer marketing plan & business review
  • Create and implement improvement strategies for under-performing dealers
  • Manage training programs and monitor effectiveness
  • Serve as the executive contact for large accounts/customers
  • Lead teams with an engaging, open, honest approach while setting standards for high performance
  • Travel up to 75%

A Few Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
  • 5+ years sales experience
  • 8+ years demonstrated experience in channel consulting/management
  • Experience with construction machinery required
  • Proven ability to significantly increase revenue
  • Diligent, disciplined, and highly organized
  • Senior leadership level knowledge of P&L, business financials, metrics, marketing, and sales and service operations
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office suite
