We are looking for a self-driven, forward-thinking person to join a global construction OEM as their next Manufacturing Engineer. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be able to leverage your strong background in manufacturing and technology to support the development, implementation, and utilization of strategies aimed at increasing plant efficiency. As a skilled communicator and expert on the latest in manufacturing equipment, you’ll be in charge of the technical training of internal staff while minimizing production downtime.

Your Mission:

  • Utilize lean methods to develop and implement highly efficient manufacturing processes
  • Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing equipment space, layout, and workflow
  • Analyze current equipment and design modifications to improve process and quality
  • Recommend changes to the plant floor plan in order to maximize efficiency, material flow, safety, and product movement
  • Ensure product and quality by testing design methods, and finished products while establishing standards and processes
  • Investigate system inefficiencies and failures to identify root causes, and propose design changes and improvements to enhance processing methodologies
  • Champion internal team technical support & training for manufacturing equipment
  • Troubleshoot issues with internal equipment 
  • Maintain and comply with government regulations

A Few Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with relevant equipment
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Communication skills, both written and verbal
