Our client, a respected and well-established, multi-location dealer, is seeking a leader with an unrivaled passion to bring intense focus, structure, and accountability to sales & business strategy. This dynamic role that’s part of the senior leadership team will supervise daily sales operations, engage with key clients, generate sales reports, craft impactful sales strategies, and promote company services. Success in this seat demands strong leadership capabilities and a keen understanding of the market and competitors, coupled with exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Your Mission:

  • Champion, lead, and motivate the sales team while assigning territories, managing inventory, and setting measurable goals & KPIs
  • Build a robust sales structure that emphasizes accountability, operational excellence, and strategic growth initiatives
  • Manage recruitment and development of the sales department
  • Review and analyze sales data to project profitability and set targets
  • As an inspirational change leader, ensure sales goals are met
  • Identify customer and market needs in order to direct sales efforts
  • Resolve customer complaints, staffing issues, and operational challenges
  • Collaborate on budgeting, expenditures, and strategy with executive leadership and regional managers
  • Monitor the market and competitive landscape for accurate sales forecasting
  • Enhance the customer experience while building vital relationships
  • Assist with complex deals and customer visits as needed
  • Maintain and follow up on new leads while nurturing existing relationships
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings and events

A Few Qualifications:

  • 7+ years proven sales leadership experience
  • Experience with heavy machinery
  • Demonstrated ability to significantly increase revenue
  • Diligent, disciplined, and highly organized
  • Senior leadership level knowledge of P&L, business financials, metrics, marketing, and sales and service operations
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office suite
