Our client, a respected and well-established equipment dealer, is searching for an accomplished sales leader to drive growth, develop talent, and set the course for the company’s commercial success. As a senior member of the leadership team, you will direct sales operations, build lasting customer partnerships, and design strategies that position the business for continued strength in a competitive industry.

This position calls for a results-oriented leader with both strategic vision and strong people skills. The right individual will bring a deep understanding of market forces, an ability to inspire teams, and a track record of turning strategy into meaningful performance outcomes.

Your Mission:

  • Lead, coach, and inspire the sales team while managing territory assignments, inventory planning, and performance targets
  • Build a high-performing sales organization through effective recruitment, onboarding, and development initiatives
  • Analyze sales data to set goals, measure progress, and forecast revenue and profitability
  • Act as a catalyst for improvement, driving consistency in achieving sales objectives
  • Identify customer needs and emerging market opportunities to inform commercial strategy
  • Address operational challenges and customer concerns with sound judgment and professionalism
  • Partner with senior leadership and regional managers on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
  • Track market activity and competitive trends to support accurate forecasting and positioning
  • Strengthen relationships and continually enhance the customer experience
  • Support the sales team in high-value deals and complex negotiations
  • Cultivate new business while deepening long-term client partnerships
  • Represent the organization at major industry events and trade association meetings

A Few Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, ideally in heavy equipment or related industries
  • Proven record of driving revenue growth and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong commercial mindset with expertise in P&L management, forecasting, and strategic planning
  • Thorough understanding of dealership sales and service operations
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM or ERP systems
