Our client, a strong & established equipment dealer, is looking for a Branch Manager to take full P&L responsibility of the branch and champion the operations of their sales, parts, rental & service departments. Utilizing an extensive background in operations management, you’ll build, lead and motivate a team that prides itself on customer service and financial success.

Your Mission:

  • Champion the creation and delivery of company values, vision & mission statement while ensuring employee buy-in
  • Work collaboratively with senior team to establish sales, parts, rental & service department KPIs
  • Propose personnel, training and performance assessments to generate sales & product support programs
  • Work cross functionally with sales leadership to establish territories and KPIs
  • Monitor finances and make recommendations to ensure budget goals are met
  • Make product line recommendations to remove unprofitable items 
  • Consistently look for ways to improve processes and develop strategies to maximize efficiency
  • As a motivational leader, hire, evaluate & coach management team to increase morale and generate a strong collaborative, productive work environment
  • Conduct yearly employee reviews to ensure professional development & proper staffing
  • As a customer facing member of the senior team, meet with key customers to assist sales team in relationship building, negotiating and closing
  • Work cross functionally with internal & external teams to ensure sales, aftersales & rental teams meet/exceed company financial, performance and customer service goals
  • Generate periodic reports based on financial and market data analysis
  • Remain an expert on the competition
  • Attend industry trade shows

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in operations management or similar role
  • Strong business acumen with a proven ability to manage finances
  • Superior analytical, problem solving and business planning skills
  • Proven leadership experience with an ability to motivate
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
