Do you have a love of sales and taking care of customers? Our client, a lead distributor in the industrial equipment and supply arena, is looking for multiple business development representatives in the Carolinas. You’ll take a hands-on, consultative approach to growing & nurturing the customer base in your assigned territory.
Your Mission:
- Manage and nurture existing business relationships
- Identify market need and growth opportunities to develop a prospecting plan to expand business within your territory
- Lead operator and process training as needed
- Conduct regular equipment inspections
- Use a consultative approach to ensure customer satisfaction while recommending brand solutions to reduce downtime and increase performance
- Market & sell rental equipment to municipalities and general contractors
- Maintain accurate book of business to include contacts, notes and sales data
- Provide timely market data and reports to management
- Work cross functionally with sales, after sales and management teams
- Attend trade shows and factory training events

- 2+ years sales experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excels with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc)
- Strong customer service skills
- Go-getter attitude, with great relationship building skills
- Motivated with a drive for continuous self-education
- Technical aptitude and problem solving skills
