Our client, a global heavy machinery manufacturer, is looking for a Technical Advisor to bolster their aftersales team. Focusing on cranes, you’ll utilize your advanced background in machine repair to provide technical support and information for new and existing customers while managing an elite level of customer service. You’ll also work cross-functionally to ensure efficient scheduling and dispatch of personnel and resources for installations, services, and emergency repairs.
Your Mission:
- Work cross-functionally with field service leadership to organize and deploy crews and necessary equipment based on customer needs
- Deliver comprehensive technical details and documentation on crane operations and functionalities to both internal and external teams
- Address customer inquiries and issues, providing solutions and coordinating service or equipment requests
- Analyze customer needs for new equipment and assist in determining compatibility
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions
- Keep open lines of communication with customers, reaching out to update them on inquiries, results of modifications, and upcoming changes
- Handle and resolve customer complaints by referring them to appropriate departments for further investigation
- Oversee quality standards through visual and mechanical inspections
- Manage the handling and disposal of hazardous materials
- Promote and ensure adherence to safety procedures
A Few Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree, technical degree, or 5+ years of related experience in repair and maintenance of relevant equipment
- Strong initiative and ability to manage projects independently or in a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of staff
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and passport
