Our client, a global construction OEM, is looking for an experienced, results-driven leader to join their team as a Senior Parts Manager. In this role, you’ll manage the parts team and work closely with warehouse personnel to oversee parts ordering, replenishment, and fulfillment. To succeed, you’ll use strong leadership and communication skills to guide the team, along with analytical abilities to track key reports like backorder fill ratios and inventory levels. Your technical knowledge of aftermarket repair parts, combined with excellent customer service and problem-solving skills, will ensure smooth operations and address any challenges as they arise. This position will also require occasional international travel to support warehouse activities.

Your Mission:

  • Lead the Parts Team across locations, ensuring KPIs are met and processes run smoothly
  • Oversee procurement and inventory strategies to optimize parts availability and minimize delays in fulfillment
  • Ensure accurate and efficient flow of parts through the supply chain, addressing any backorders, shortages, or stock discrepancies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal sales, purchasing, and service teams to streamline inventory management and parts fulfillment
  • Develop and implement parts sourcing strategies, negotiating with suppliers and fostering strong partnerships
  • Use data-driven insights to monitor and adjust inventory levels, ensuring alignment with customer demand and service levels
  • Support the team with technical expertise, guiding them through parts challenges and offering solutions that drive customer satisfaction
  • Provide training and development for the parts team, ensuring they are equipped to meet evolving business needs
  • Coordinate with external partners and oversee inventory operations at international warehouse, with occasional travel as needed

A Few Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in the heavy machinery industry
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a related field, with proven ability to lead and develop teams
  • Demonstrated management experience in parts and inventory management
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, with a focus on international operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; SAP experience is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to process improvement
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, capable of collaborating across departments and driving results
