Our client, a reputable specialized equipment dealership in New England, is seeking a forward-thinking General Manager to lead branch operations and support continued growth. This role is central to driving operational excellence by overseeing key departments such as service, parts, and remanufacturing. As a cultural leader, you will shape team dynamics, foster collaboration, and implement strategies that enhance organizational performance and morale. Your ability to manage complex operations while maintaining a hands-on, team-oriented approach will be essential to long-term success.
Your Mission:
- Uphold high standards across all areas, including facility image, KPIs, customer satisfaction, and team engagement
- Direct and support service, parts and reman department leaders to ensure alignment with company goals
- Build and sustain a high-performance culture focused on accountability, safety, and operational discipline
- Develop and monitor budgets to ensure financial health and long-term stability
- Meet or exceed established targets in service delivery, PDIs, and parts performance
- Strengthen vendor, customer, and internal relationships across the region
- Identify areas for improvement and lead process enhancements that drive efficiency and quality
- Review and interpret operational data to guide decision-making and support business growth
A Few Qualifications:
- More than ten years of relevant experience in equipment or service operations
- At least five years in a leadership role with proven success in team development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Operational and financial acumen within a dealership or service environment
- A practical mindset and willingness to lead by example
