Our client, an established construction equipment manufacturer, is seeking Territory Sales Managers to expand its presence across key U.S. regions. You will serve as a key resource within the dealer network, helping dealers reach new customers, generate stronger demand, and improve how they sell and support equipment throughout its lifecycle.
You will spend much of your time in the field, building relationships and developing a clear understanding of each market. Working alongside dealer leadership and sales teams, you will identify high-potential customers and applications, anticipate equipment and rental demand, and turn market insight into focused action. Your ability to build credibility, follow through, and connect opportunities with the right resources will directly contribute to growth across your territory.

Your Mission
- Study your territory to determine where customer demand is strongest, where representation could improve, and which opportunities deserve greater attention
- Build productive relationships with distributor ownership, management, and customer-facing teams throughout the region
- Strengthen market coverage by developing existing distributors and identifying potential representation in underserved areas
- Help partners align equipment availability, rental resources, and product support capabilities with the needs of their local customers
- Create field opportunities through customer meetings, jobsite visits, equipment demonstrations, and collaborative sales activity
- Improve distributor confidence in the product line through application guidance, commercial support, and practical product education
- Establish a consistent rhythm for reviewing sales activity, developing opportunities, equipment availability, and changing market needs
- Gather insight into customer priorities, project activity, competitive products, and pricing conditions that can guide broader business decisions
- Connect distributors and customers with the appropriate internal teams when commercial, technical, or product support challenges arise
- Provide leadership with dependable forecasts and a clear view of territory activity, developing demand, and future market potential
A Few Qualifications
- At least five years of sales, account development, or territory management experience within construction equipment, heavy machinery, or a related industry
- Proven experience growing business through an independent dealer or distributor network
- A practical understanding of equipment sales, rental, inventory planning, and product support
- The ability to evaluate market information, establish priorities, manage multiple business relationships, and communicate effectively at different organizational levels
- Flexibility to travel extensively throughout the assigned region
