Our client, a well-known & respected family-owned dealership is looking for a business manager to join their team focused on road machinery. Leverage your passion for road construction equipment and an analytical mindset with your strong mechanical aptitude to increase product market share. Utilizing your high level of market awareness and product expertise, you’ll work to share superior product knowledge and establish a competitive advantage across all levels of the organization and end-users.
Your Mission:
- Deeply research and understand road machinery in the North American market
- Stay abreast of market patterns and changes, and forecast future opportunities
- Act as a subject matter expert for road construction equipment
- Provide support for machine start-ups, conduct product demonstrations, oversee equipment operation, and facilitate operator and safety training
- Manage logistics associated with field demonstrations
- Utilize research data to build business cases and help influence short term & long-range business decisions
- Take the lead in providing product support to guarantee customer satisfaction during demonstrations
- Analyze VOC to help influence areas of improvement
- Cultivate and maintain positive and productive relationships with customers and OEMs
- Utilize product expertise to serve as spokesperson at various events including trade shows, seminars, and group meetings
- Attend & actively participate in industry trade shows and events
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, or related field
- 5+ years relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of road construction equipment and a high mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail
