Our client, a well-established heavy equipment company, is seeking a Human Resources Manager to support leaders and employees across a dynamic, customer-focused organization. This role is well-suited for an experienced HR leader who can operate independently, exercise sound judgment on day-to-day HR decisions, and balance people, operations, compliance, and culture in a fast-moving environment.
The Human Resources Manager will work closely across all U.S. branches, departments, and senior leaders to strengthen employee relations, support workforce planning, guide performance management, and help build HR processes that support long-term business success. This position requires a seasoned HR professional who can operate as both a trusted advisor and a hands-on resource—someone comfortable making independent decisions, handling sensitive employee matters from start to finish, and owning HR outcomes across the organization.
Your Mission

- Coach managers on communication, accountability, performance conversations, documentation, and leadership best practices
- Conduct thorough, objective workplace investigations and bring them to sound, well-documented resolution
- Lead and conduct terminations and other sensitive employment actions with professionalism, consistency, and appropriate documentation
- Help strengthen employee experience through consistent HR support, clear processes, and practical problem-solving
- Maintain compliance with employment laws, company policies, safety requirements, and internal HR procedures
- Administer and oversee Health and Welfare benefit programs, including plan administration, open enrollment, leave management, and compliance with related regulations
- Manage and optimize the HRIS, including data integrity, reporting, workflows, and process improvements, while supporting compensation and employee records
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, reduce risk, and create greater consistency across the organization
- Collaborate with leadership on succession planning, training needs, organizational changes, and team development initiatives
- Use HR data, employee feedback, and business insights to help leaders make informed people decisions
