Our client, a global equipment manufacturer, is seeking an engineering leader to provide technical direction and practical innovation across the full product lifecycle, from early concept work through launch and ongoing product improvement. This role is designed for a strong communicator and proven problem solver who can help shape the next generation of dozers for the North American market.

This opportunity is well suited for a senior engineering professional who understands how to turn market needs into a machine that performs in the field, stands up over time, and supports broader business goals. You will have meaningful influence over both product direction and execution, with responsibility for guiding development, defining key machine requirements, and working across teams to support a successful launch. The right person will bring deep dozer engineering experience, a strong grasp of machine-level integration, and the ability to lead development efforts with both precision and practicality.

Your Mission

  • Guide the engineering effort behind compact dozers for the North American market
  • Establish machine-level requirements that support performance, durability, usability, and cost targets
  • Lead technical direction across critical machine functions such as drivetrain, hydraulic performance, structural integrity, controls, and operator environment
  • Evaluate competing machines in the market and use those insights to help shape product priorities
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen the machine’s value through improved performance, ease of service, technology, efficiency, and operator experience
  • Work closely with product, service, manufacturing, and engineering stakeholders to keep development aligned from concept through execution
  • Support integration of grading and control technologies that improve machine capability in the field
  • Help ensure the finished product is well-suited for customer expectations and applicable market requirements
  • Provide experienced technical leadership that helps move decisions forward and keeps development on track

  • Experience leading or heavily influencing new product development efforts
  • Ability to assess competing products and turn market observations into actionable engineering direction
  • Strong analytical ability and sound technical judgment
  • Comfortable working across teams and functions in a fast-moving product development environment
