Our client, a respected equipment manufacturer, is seeking a Foundational Drill Rig Sales Manager to expand market presence and accelerate commercial performance across North America. This opportunity calls for someone with strong knowledge of the foundational drill rig sector, the ability to establish trust with customers, and the commercial instincts to convert market opportunity into sustained growth. You will lead territory development efforts, deepen key customer relationships, and help guide equipment decisions that align with field application needs and long term business objectives. Success in this role will require a balance of strategic market development, disciplined sales execution, and close collaboration with internal teams to support a strong customer experience throughout the ownership cycle.

Your Mission:

  • Lead territory growth for drill rig sales throughout North America, with a focus on expanding business and strengthening market position
  • Develop relationships with key accounts and industry contacts across foundation, geotechnical, and construction-related segments
  • Drive opportunities from early-stage contact through final close, keeping momentum strong throughout the sales process
  • Shape territory plans that support revenue growth, customer expansion, and better visibility into future demand
  • Maintain a strong pulse on pipeline activity, market direction, and territory performance to help guide sound commercial decisions
  • Advise customers on equipment fit, application needs, and overall solution alignment for both routine opportunities and more complex projects
  • Work alongside service, product support, and technical teams to help create a smooth handoff from sale to delivery and continued support
  • Encourage adoption of support programs that strengthen the customer relationship over time, including aftersales and financial solutions where appropriate
  • Track competitor activity, customer movement, and broader market shifts to help refine sales strategy and positioning
  • Support growth through both direct customer engagement and regional channel development where needed
  • Keep leadership informed through consistent reporting on account activity, market conditions, forecasts, and commercial progress
  • Partner with internal teams across marketing, engineering, and support functions to help address customer needs and strengthen execution in the field
  • Represent the company well during customer visits, industry gatherings, trade events, and other market-facing activities

A Few Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of sales experience within drill rigs, foundation equipment, or related heavy equipment
  • Strong understanding of foundation applications, customer needs, and the North American market
  • Proven ability to sell high-value equipment, manage complex opportunities, and close business successfully
  • Strong relationship building, negotiation skills, and commercial judgment, with existing industry connections considered a plus
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across sales, service, and technical teams, with willingness to travel extensively
