Our client, a respected equipment company, is seeking a Sales Representative to support business growth across the Western United States. This role is designed for a driven sales professional who understands how to build lasting customer relationships, develop new opportunities in the field, and help move equipment sales forward in a competitive market.
This opportunity is well-suited for someone comfortable managing a territory, staying close to customer needs, and balancing account development with new business efforts. You will play an important role in expanding market presence, supporting customers through the sales process, and coordinating internally to help ensure a strong overall experience. Success in this position will come from commercial instinct, industry knowledge, and the ability to stay organized while managing multiple opportunities at once.
Your Mission
- Grow equipment sales throughout the Western United States
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular communication and in-person visits
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the territory
- Match equipment solutions to customer needs, applications, and jobsite demands
- Develop and manage quotes and proposals for active opportunities
- Work closely with internal teams to keep deals moving accurately and efficiently
- Stay aligned with operations and support teams on machine availability and delivery timing
- Monitor open opportunities, inventory position, and expected timelines throughout the sales cycle
- Evaluate used equipment that may be included in customer transactions
- Stay informed on market activity, customer trends, and competitive movement across the region
A Few Qualifications
- Strong understanding of heavy machinery and related attachments
- Proven ability to grow business through relationship management and prospecting
- Confidence working with customers in construction, industrial, or related markets
- Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities with strong follow-through
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel throughout the Western United States, including overnight travel when needed
- Self-directed approach with strong organization and professionalism
- Team-oriented mindset and sound communication skills
