Our client, a global manufacturer serving the industrial equipment market, is seeking a Commercial Manager to take a leading role in the continued growth and development of its U.S. business. This is a senior commercial leadership opportunity with meaningful influence over dealer development, market expansion, sales performance, parts and service, and the broader customer experience.
You will lead the commercial development of the U.S. market, working closely with an established network of independent dealers while identifying opportunities to strengthen coverage, improve dealer performance, and expand the company’s presence across both private-sector and municipal markets. Success will require a strong understanding of dealer-driven sales, commercial operations, and the infrastructure needed to support customers throughout the equipment lifecycle.
The role offers significant visibility across the business and the opportunity to help shape how the U.S. operation continues to develop. You will lead a cross-functional team, oversee key commercial performance measures, and establish the processes and priorities needed to support sustainable growth. Experience working with municipalities or public-sector customers will be particularly valuable as the company continues to build that side of the business.
Your Mission:
- Lead the commercial strategy for the U.S. market across sales, dealer development, pricing, market growth, and customer support
- Strengthen and expand the dealer network through onboarding, development, performance management, and territory planning
- Grow the company’s presence within municipal markets by understanding procurement requirements, customer needs, and equipment applications
- Lead and develop a cross-functional team supporting sales, technical service, parts, and aftersales
- Drive revenue growth, machine sales, parts performance, customer satisfaction, and overall commercial results
- Establish consistent processes across equipment sales, order management, service, parts, and ongoing product support
- Guide product positioning, pricing, and market strategy based on competitive activity, customer feedback, and commercial objectives
- Identify gaps in market coverage, dealer capability, and internal processes, then develop practical solutions that support long-term growth
A Few Qualifications:
- Commercial leadership experience within industrial equipment, heavy equipment, municipal equipment, or a related dealer-driven industry
- A strong understanding of dealer development and what it takes to build productive, long-term dealer relationships
- Experience working with municipal or public-sector customers, procurement processes, or government-facing equipment sales is highly desirable
- Broad commercial acumen with exposure to sales, parts, service, operations, pricing, and financial performance
- The ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in a growing business environment
- Experience leading and developing employees across multiple customer-facing or commercial functions
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- A practical, growth-oriented mindset with the ability to create structure, improve processes, and manage competing priorities
