Our client, a global manufacturer serving the industrial equipment market, is looking for a Product Specialist to support customers, dealer partners, and sales teams across the U.S.
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands equipment and knows how to communicate its value. Your technical background and experience around industrial machinery will help you quickly understand customer applications, demonstrate products with confidence, and build credibility with the people you support.
You’ll spend much of your time in the field, helping dealers and customers understand how the equipment performs, where it fits, and why it makes sense for their operation. Success will come from combining technical knowledge with strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to turn product features into practical customer value.
Your Mission
- Serve as the go-to expert on product performance, capabilities, and applications
- Equip dealer and sales teams with the knowledge and tools needed to promote the product line effectively
- Deliver hands-on product demonstrations and practical training to dealers and end users
- Work closely with sales teams to support opportunities and move customers toward a decision
- Adapt demonstrations and training to different applications and customer needs
- Support product deliveries and customer handoffs
- Share field feedback on customer needs, competitors, and market opportunities
- Help improve product training, sales tools, and overall product understanding
A Few Qualifications
- Experience with industrial equipment, machinery, technical sales, product demonstrations, equipment training, or a related field
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to explain technical information clearly
- Experience working with dealers, distributors, or other B2B customers
- Comfortable presenting to customers and working hands-on with equipment
- Commercially minded, with the ability to connect product capabilities to customer needs and business value
- Self-motivated, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently in the field
- Willingness to travel extensively and meet any licensing or certification requirements needed to safely operate the equipment
