Our client, a respected heavy equipment company, is seeking a General Manager to lead regional performance across key commercial, operational, and financial priorities.
In this role, you will bring direction, accountability, and alignment to a multi-function business. You will help ensure teams are working toward shared goals, business priorities are being executed with consistency, and the region is positioned for strong performance over time. You will be expected to keep a close pulse on the business, support sound decision-making, and lead in a way that strengthens both results and day-to-day execution.
Success in this position will come from your ability to see the big picture while keeping the business moving forward at ground level. You will use sound judgment, leadership presence, and a strong sense of ownership to drive performance, support the team, and help the organization continue building momentum.
Your Mission:
- Take ownership of regional business performance across commercial, operational, and financial areas
- Create stronger coordination between teams that support equipment sales, product support, and customer care
- Identify opportunities to expand business within the territory by staying close to market activity and customer demand
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers, local stakeholders, and industry contacts
- Support major business opportunities by helping teams navigate important customer decisions and complex situations
- Keep a close watch on the health of the business, including spending, margin performance, and overall results
- Use business data and market feedback to guide decisions that improve performance
- Help shape a region that runs with discipline, responds well to customers, and operates with consistency
- Partner with internal leaders to improve workflow, strengthen accountability, and remove friction between functions
- Oversee business resources in a way that supports availability, efficiency, and sound planning
- Reinforce a strong local culture that values teamwork, ownership, and dependable execution
- Help ensure the region is staffed, organized, and positioned to meet business needs over time
A Few Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success leading a regional operation, branch network, or similar business within equipment or a related industry
- Strong commercial instincts and an understanding of how field operations and customer support influence growth
- Experience managing business performance with clear accountability for financial outcomes
- Ability to lead through others and align multiple teams around shared priorities
- Good judgment in customer-facing situations and confidence representing the business externally
- Comfortable working across both strategy and execution, with the ability to keep priorities moving
- Capable of improving business rhythm, raising standards, and creating clarity where needed
- Willingness to travel within the region based on business demands
